to both my job and the community I live and work in. I believe in incorporating as many different styles of learning as possible in every lesson I believe in team efforts, and in the ability for merging as many subjects as possible to create relevancy for the students.

Accomplishments: Taught basic computer and typing skills. Wrote new curriculum based on state standards and integrating the class with the other subjects. Incorporated all other subjects into class in research projects and written assignments. Used the Internet for research purposes and taught the proper use of it as an important educational tool. Was able to persuade Boeing Aircraft Company to donate thirty computers, allowing for a new curriculum to be written. After teaching Macintosh based computers for one year, reorganized the technology lab to IBM, which better linked the school with the technology goals of the district. Took special interest in uniting the curriculum with research and writing whenever possible. Organized trip of community members and students to Washington D.C. and Williamsburg. Was the associate editor of the school newspaper. Took special interest in uniting the curriculum with research and writing whenever possible. Organized days for the staff to learn to use technology for education, especially educational programs and the Internet. Teaching the teachers about the use of educational technology allowed for much growth for both the staff and the students. Member of the District Technology Committee which developed the new technology plan for the next decade, including the details of the new school facilities.

Student Teaching: Taught and planned8^th Grade World Geography course for both regular and accelerated classes. Participated in development of projects to be used with the Geographical Imaging System (GIS). Helped organize and actively participated in a door to survey of declining neighborhood, culminating in a block watch meeting which discussed possible renovations designed by the classes. Presented the material to the City of Chandler Task Force on Redevelopment, which used the report as the basis of their proposal to the city.

Journalism (including yearbook, photography, film critiquing, and video production).
